Snorkelling around Skiathos
Get away from the crowds and join us for an unforgettable adventure out into the blue, where we’ll take you to some of the best sites around Skiathos for meeting the locals.
At Dolphin Diving Skiathos we can’t wait to share our passion for all the amazing things there are to see, and with water so amazingly clear, you don’t even need to dive to be able to see them.
We have a couple of options for you.
We go out every day, with morning and afternoon boat trips, taking divers and snorkelers to one of our many stunning dive spots around Skiathos and its surrounding islands. Most of these are located close to shore, and start at a depth of only a few meters. It goes without saying, they are always packed with a riot of fish life of all different types that, together with the crystal-clear water, make the experience truly breath taking. After a short ride out on our comfortable and covered 10-meter boat (during which we also often see dolphins and even monk seals), we’ll anchor up for over an hour while the divers go out, giving you ample time to really immerse yourself in this magical world, entering and exiting the water as you please using the ladder at the back deck.
Alternatively, if you would like to extend your experience, we will also be scheduling regular afternoon and half-day excursions just for snorkelers (*subject to a minimum number of participants*). For these excursions, we’ll stop at one or two different spots over 1-2 or 3-4 hours (depending on if it is a single trip or half-day excursion). Again, we’ll provide the briefing, all the equipment, and the refreshments, but this time our experienced instructor will also be in the water with you to give you tips and training in freediving (using apnoea or breath hold techniques), so you can practice ducking down and gliding effortlessly among all the fish life in perfect harmony.
