If it’s been a bit longer and you didn’t get so much dive experience after certifying, we would recommend you take a ReActivate course. This is a program designed to help already certified divers who’ve been inactive to rebuild their skills so they can dive into their next adventure with confidence as soon as possible. It’s an engaging, efficient way to refresh your dive knowledge and regain the skills you learned in your first scuba diving course without having to start again from scratch. The prescriptive course format allows you to maximise your time by moving quickly through aspects you remember well, to really focus on the those that are more hazy.
Like other PADI programs, there is a knowledge component and an in-water skills refresher. You can complete the knowledge review material quickly and easily online in a couple of hours with eLearning using your phone or other device. After this, you’ll move onto the in-water portion, in which our instructor will go over all the skills you learned in the PADI Open Water Course in a confined water setting, helping you as much as you need to really feel comfortable and in control.
On completion, you’ll receive a “ReActivated” certification card that verifies you’re good to go.
